Acceptance Rules
El Saleheya El Gadida (SGU) applies the announced rules and decisions of the Supreme Council for Private Universities concerning the new and transferred students.
Admission and Registration
El Saleheya El Gadida (SGU) accepts all qualified students to join faculties according to their wishes and according to the minimum grade announced by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and after getting approval from the Admission Office of the Supreme Council for Private Universities.
General Requirements
El Saleheya El Gadida (SGU) University welcomes applications for undergraduate degrees for both the Fall and Spring Semesters. Students are eligible to apply through any of the following methods:
The University accepts students holding the following certificates :
- The Egyptian General Secondary Certificate (Thanawiya Amma) .
- Al-Azhar Secondary School .
- General secondary education from Arab and other foreign countries
- The American High School Diploma.
- STEM Schools .
Application Requirements
The University’s admission requirements comply fully with the regulations established by the Egyptian Council of Private Universities .
Applicants must have attained the Egyptian Secondary School General Certificate (Thanawiya Amma) or approved equivalent certificates (see above).
Important Documents
Final admission is pending submission of all required official documents and paying the semester’s tuition fees.
The documents required for admission:
- The original high school certificate and a copy.
- For the students of the Arab or foreign equivalency certificates; A complete approved and authenticated certificate is required from the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.
- Original Computer birth certificate (with triple number for the male students) and a copy.
- 2 copies of the student’s national ID card and a copy of the guardian’s National ID (father and mother . (
- Form 2 Soldiers for Male students.
- 6 personal photos 6×4 on white background.
Requirements for Transfer Students
Transfer from other universities
- Transfer students must fulfill the University’s admissions requirements, including having attained the High School Certificate with a score complying with the regulations of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Private Universities for the year during which the certificate was obtained.
- Students must submit official transcripts of completed courses taken at an accredited university, with detailed course descriptions and verification of the credit hours and grades achieved.
- Upon final acceptance at the University, students will be requested to submit a letter from their previous university confirming their withdrawal from that university.
- Courses that are to be transferred must be substantially the same in both content and quality to El Saleheya El Gadida SGU University’s courses, subject to the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education.
