As part of El Saleheya El Gadida University’s commitment to keeping pace with the latest global developments in technology and artificial intelligence, Eng. Zakaria Ahmed, a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, has completed a specialized training program in Artificial Intelligence at Zhejiang Normal University in the People’s Republic of China.
The training program aimed to explore the latest technologies and modern applications in the field of Artificial Intelligence and exchange expertise with a distinguished group of international academics and experts. This experience contributes to knowledge transfer and the adoption of advanced practices to support the University’s educational and research activities.

At the conclusion of the program, Eng. Zakaria Ahmed delivered a presentation introducing El Saleheya El Gadida University and the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence. He discussed the Faculty’s mission and vision, his main research interests in the field of Artificial Intelligence, as well as his role in teaching programming and supervising students’ applied projects.
During the presentation, he also highlighted the key knowledge and expertise he gained from his training experience in the People’s Republic of China and the opportunity it provided to gain first-hand insight into advanced models for applying Artificial Intelligence and technology in education, industry, and development. He emphasized that the experience broadened his research perspective and strengthened his belief in the importance of international academic cooperation and knowledge exchange in advancing education and scientific research.
Eng. Zakaria Ahmed concluded his presentation by emphasizing the importance of establishing strategic partnerships between El Saleheya El Gadida University and Chinese academic and research institutions. Such partnerships could include implementing joint research projects, exchanging faculty members and students, organizing conferences, workshops, and training programs, and exploring the establishment of specialized joint laboratories and research centers in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.
