Under the gracious patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of El Saleheya El Gadida University, and with the support and guidance of Prof. Dr. Assem El Shazly, President of the University, the University made an exceptional humanitarian impact with the conclusion of its major blood donation campaign, launched under the slogan “Our Blood… Saves a World,” in cooperation with the Blood Bank at El Saleheya El Gadida Hospital.
In a gesture reflecting the medical institutions’ appreciation of the University’s societal role, the administration of El Saleheya El Gadida Hospital honored Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, by presenting him with a shield of appreciation in recognition of his pioneering efforts and patronage of humanitarian initiatives that contribute to saving lives and supporting the healthcare system.
During an inspection tour to follow up on the campaign, Prof. Dr. Assem El Shazly, President of the University, was accompanied by Mr. Magdy Abdel Aziz, Secretary General of the University, along with a number of academic and administrative leaders. The University President affirmed that this initiative represents a vivid embodiment of national and social responsibility, noting that the University’s mission extends beyond academic boundaries to instill the values of solidarity and giving among its students.
The campaign was meticulously organized under the supervision of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, led by Mr. Mamdouh Othman, as the University grounds transformed into a hive of dedicated volunteers. Meanwhile, specialized medical teams from El Saleheya El Gadida Hospital conducted the necessary medical examinations for donors and ensured that the process adhered to the highest safety standards.
At the conclusion of the event, the University administration extended its sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed—whether through donating blood or offering their efforts—to the success of this noble initiative. It praised every donor who chose to give and grant life to others through a single drop of blood, affirming that the success of this campaign stands as new evidence of the strong bond between El Saleheya El Gadida University and its community.
