Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees; Mr. Alaa El-Din Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Board; Prof. Dr. Assem El-Shazly, President of the University; and Prof. Dr. Abdelaziz Khamis, Vice President of the University—and within the framework of the university’s integrated plan to enhance the role of students as active contributors in monitoring and addressing negative social phenomena—the General Administration for Youth Welfare, led by Mr. Mamdouh Othman, has announced the results of the 2026 “Social Research and Topics” Competition.

  • Theme Two: Drugs… a scourge that threatens the future of nations.

Prof. Dr. Assem El-Shazly, President of the University, praised the level of cultural and research awareness demonstrated by the students, emphasizing that such activities aim to immunize youth against destructive ideas and to develop their scientific research skills in a way that serves national causes.

A specialized committee, including Dr. Mohamed Helmy and Dr. Amr Kotb, supervised the evaluation of the submitted research. The assessment was based on precise criteria, including scientific methodology, quality of content, and the practicality of the proposed solutions.
