Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saleh, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, and Mr. Alaa El-Din Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Board, Prof. Dr. Assem El-Shazly, President of El Saleheya El Gadida University, attended the closing ceremony of the University Football League Championship, in a sporting celebration that reflected a spirit of unity and student excellence.

The closing ceremony was held in the presence of Mr. Magdy Abdelaziz, Secretary-General of the University, deans of the faculties, and a distinguished group of faculty members. The university stadium hosted the final match, which was marked by strong competition and outstanding technical performance. The Faculty of Physical Therapy team successfully claimed the championship title after defeating the Faculty of International Business and Economics team in the final match, amid strong crowd support and high-level organization by the General Administration of Youth Welfare, led by Mr. Mamdouh Othman.

Following the final whistle, Prof. Dr. Assem El-Shazly awarded the championship trophy and gold medals to the champions of the Faculty of Physical Therapy, praising the high level of sportsmanship displayed during the match. He emphasized that such youth unity is the ultimate goal the university seeks to achieve through organizing sports activities.

In his speech, the University President stated that hosting such events comes within the framework of the university’s comprehensive vision to develop students’ skills and refine their personalities. He noted that student activities represent a fundamental pillar in building a generation capable of leadership—one that successfully combines academic excellence, physical fitness, and disciplined behavior, qualifying them to be honorable role models for society.
