New Salhia University Strengthens Its Students’ Digital Future with a Strategic Partnership with (Creativa)

In a strategic move to enhance the digital skills and innovation capabilities of its students, New Salhia University hosted an extensive and comprehensive introductory session on the services and programs offered by the Creativa Digital Egypt Innovation Center in Ismailia.

The session was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Assem El-Shazly, President of the University, and with the supervision and attendance of Prof. Dr. Abdelaziz Khamis, Vice President of the University; Prof. Dr. Mostafa Gad El-Haq, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information; and Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Shawarby, Dean of the Faculty of International Management and Economics.

This event represents part of the fruitful and ongoing collaboration between New Salhia University and the Creativa Center. Its primary aim is to introduce students to the role of the Digital Egypt Innovation Center (Creativa) and its pivotal contribution to building youth capabilities and raising awareness of the advanced and free training opportunities available across the technology sector for all university students.

In this context, Prof. Dr. Abdelaziz Khamis, Vice President of the University, emphasized the great importance of such initiatives, highlighting their direct role in equipping students with modern technical skills in advanced fields, thereby enhancing their competitiveness in the job market. He urged students to make the most of these opportunities. Dr. Gad El-Haq and Dr. El-Shawarby also stressed the importance of integrating these skills into students’ academic and career paths.

The session witnessed distinguished attendance from representatives of relevant entities, most notably: Eng. Khaled Hassan Ayada, Director of KAAF Technology & Training Company, the operator of the Creativa Ismailia Center; Mr. Ibrahim Samir, Project Manager at KAAF Technology & Training Company; and Dr. Yasmin Mohamed Hassan, representative of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and Program Coordinator at the Creativa Technology Innovation Center in Ismailia.

The presentation focused on the specialized activities and training courses that the center will offer to the university’s faculties, aligning with the demands of the digital job market. These included the following key fields:

• Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Internet of Things (IoT)
• Cyber Security
• Digital Fabrication

El Saleheya El Gadida University affirms the importance of this strategic collaboration in enabling students to acquire the practical and applied skills necessary to engage in the digital revolution, noting that the Creativa Center serves as an ideal platform for fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.

The event received strong engagement from attendees, reinforcing this initiative as an important step toward bridging the gap between academic outcomes and the actual needs of the labor market.
