“The Egyptian University Student in the Street… Civilized Conduct and Appearance.”

The seminar represents a cornerstone activity within the “Correct Your Concepts” initiative launched by the Ministry of Awqaf. In his opening speech, Prof. Dr. Assem El-Shazly emphasized that the role of the university is not limited to academic education alone, but extends to a higher mission centered on building a conscious national character. He highlighted the importance of equipping students with the ability to distinguish between moderate thought and misconceptions, and of establishing enlightened intellectual approaches as a tool for building the future.

For his part, Dr. Mohamed Hary noted that building a balanced personality begins with instilling the values of responsibility, respect for the law, and preservation of public decorum, stressing that the university student is an ambassador of his educational institution wherever he may be.

In the same context, Dr. Mayada Tharwat addressed the moral and educational dimensions of shaping youth awareness, affirming that adherence to noble ethics and disciplined behavior reflects the individual’s refinement.

The seminar witnessed remarkable engagement and open discussions among students, with constructive dialogue on ways to enhance ethical conduct both inside and outside the university campus. It was emphasized that a student’s personal demeanor and civilized appearance constitute the fundamental pillar for strengthening the honorable image of the Egyptian university within society.
