Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Assem El-Shazly, President of El Saleheya El Gadida University, and in a step that reflects the concept of a university that is open to its community, and as part of its ongoing efforts to serve the local community, the General Administration for Youth Welfare at the university organized a pioneering educational visit for students of Omar Ibn Al-Khattab School.
The visit included the participation of academic staff members from the medical sector faculties. The program focused on delivering interactive activities designed to transfer academic medical expertise in a simplified manner suitable for different age groups, contributing to strengthening public health concepts and enhancing preventive awareness among students.
In this context, Prof. Dr. Assem El-Shazly emphasized that the university places great importance on its societal role alongside its academic mission, noting that such initiatives represent a natural extension of the university’s message to serve society and spread knowledge.
This initiative comes within the university’s strategy to empower younger generations and raise awareness of public health, based on the belief that prevention represents the fundamental pillar for building a healthy, vibrant, and sustainable society.
