As part of its commitment to raising youth awareness and strengthening the values of belonging and identity, El Saleheya El Gadida University hosted a major educational seminar entitled “Youth Between the Questions of the Past and Contemporary Reality,” with a large attendance of university leaders and students.
The seminar featured rich and in-depth discussions addressing issues of identity and belonging. Dr. Essam El-Roubi presented an enlightened Islamic perspective that addressed many of the questions raised by young people regarding contemporary changes, emphasizing the importance of acquiring knowledge from reliable sources and adhering to a balanced and moderate approach.
The distinguished media figure Mr. Reda Abdel Salam, former Head of the Holy Qur’an Radio, added a unique interactive dimension to the seminar by opening the floor for direct dialogue with students. The students actively participated with insightful contributions and questions reflecting a high level of awareness of contemporary issues, making the seminar a dynamic platform for exchanging ideas and shaping a more aware and ambitious future vision for Egyptian youth.
In an inspiring remark, Prof. Assem El-Shazly emphasized that this event is not merely an intellectual seminar, but rather a bridge connecting the wisdom of the past with the aspirations of the present, aiming to prepare a generation capable of addressing contemporary challenges with enlightened awareness and a balanced mindset.
The event concluded with honoring the university’s guests, amid widespread praise from attendees for the high intellectual standard demonstrated by the university, reflecting its leading mission in promoting awareness and human development.
