Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Alaa El-Din Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Board, and under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Assem El-Shazly, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz Khamis, Vice President of the University, El Saleheya El Gadida University participated with an official delegation in the closing ceremony of Innovation Week for the Suez Canal and Sinai Region (Innovation Week), hosted by Suez Canal University.
The participation comes as part of the University’s mission to foster a culture of innovation, promote scientific research, and engage with academic and development initiatives.
The University’s delegation included a distinguished group of academic and administrative staff members, namely:
- Dr. Karima El-Sayed Ismail Ahmed, Professor of Physiology, Faculty of Physical Therapy.
- Dr. Mohamed Fawzy Mohamed, Assistant Lecturer, Faculty of International Management and Economics.
- Dr. Mohamed El-Damanhoury, Assistant Lecturer of Physics, Faculty of Physical Therapy.
- Teaching Assistant Emtinan El-Sayed.
- Teaching Assistant Nada Salah.
- Mr. Mamdouh Othman Abdel Hamid, Director of Youth Welfare at the University.
Prof. Dr. Assem El-Shazly emphasized that the University’s participation in such events reflects its strategy of supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, strengthening cooperation with academic and research institutions, promoting and commercializing scientific outputs, and connecting scientific research with labor market needs and sustainable development plans. These efforts contribute to preparing graduates who are capable of competing and creating innovative solutions.
The closing ceremony featured presentations of participating innovative projects and prototypes, in addition to specialized sessions and workshops. The event concluded with a ceremony honoring the participants and the institutions that contributed to the success of Innovation Week.
