El Saleheya El Gadida University participates in the “EDEX 2025” Defense and Military Industries Exhibition.

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohamed Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Mr. Alaa El-Din Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Board, and under the directives of Professor Dr. Assem El Shazly, University President, and Professor Dr. Abdelaziz Khamees, Vice President of the University, a student delegation from El Saleheya El Gadida University participated in the activities of the International Defense and Military Industries Exhibition “EDEX 2025,” a leading global platform for defense and technological innovation.

The leadership of El Saleheya El Gadida University affirmed that organizing this visit comes in support of the comprehensive national vision adopted by the Egyptian state, reflected in major events such as “EDEX.” The visit aims to achieve several key objectives, most notably: enhancing students’ national and strategic awareness and linking them to the political leadership’s vision for developing Egypt’s defense system; enabling students to directly explore the latest military equipment, defense systems, and advanced technologies presented by major Egyptian and international companies; and encouraging innovation, especially among students in technological disciplines, to strengthen their ability to propose solutions and innovations that support the future of the defense industry and the nation’s technological advancement.

The student delegation was accompanied by a distinguished group of faculty members from El Saleheya El Gadida University, led by Professor Dr. Hilal El Qassas, along with the Youth Welfare Department, headed by Mr. Mamdouh Othman and supported by Mr. Abdullah Abdel Aal, Mr. Ahmed Sobhy, Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim, and Mr. Mostafa El-Safty, General Coordinator of Military Education, providing full support and supervision throughout the exhibition.

The delegation toured various pavilions at the exhibition, held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, where they explored the latest advancements in global defense technology, including smart weapons systems, unmanned aerial vehicle technologies, and advanced digital defense solutions.

Participating students expressed their great satisfaction with this exceptional experience, describing it as an unprecedented opportunity to deepen their understanding of the significant progress achieved by the Egyptian state in military and technological manufacturing.

The University reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive educational and cultural experiences that enrich students’ knowledge and enhance their scientific and national awareness—preparing conscious, innovative generations capable of contributing effectively to the nation’s development and progress.
