Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees; Prof. Alaa El-Din Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Board; Prof. Dr. Assem Mohamed El-Shazly, President of the University; Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz Khamis, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Khodr, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Community Service, the Scouts students of El Saleheya El Gadida University participated in the New Scout Leaders Training Camp, in cooperation with the Ismailia Maritime Scouts Association.
The University’s General Administration for Youth Welfare, under the supervision of Mr. Mamdouh Othman, oversaw the University’s delegation throughout the camp. The program featured a diverse range of scouting, training, and sports activities, including a visit to the Suez Canal Museum, a maritime tour of the New Suez Canal, training in swimming and rescue skills, first aid for water-related emergencies, and introductory training in rowing, in addition to a number of educational and recreational activities.
The University’s participation reflects its commitment to supporting student activities and developing students’ leadership, teamwork, discipline, and sense of responsibility. These efforts contribute to building well-rounded students who are capable of active participation and meaningful service to the community.
