Under the directives of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Alaa El-Din Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Assem El-Shazly, University President, and in coordination with the General Administration of Youth Welfare led by Mr. Mamdouh Othman,
a student delegation from El Saleheya El Gadida University participated in the activities of Training Course No. (119) titled “Egyptian and Arab Strategy and National Security,” organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the Military Academy for Advanced and Strategic Studies (National Defense College).
Mr. Abdullah Abdel-Aal, Director of Youth Welfare at the Faculty of Pharmacy, accompanied the student delegation.
This participation reflects the university’s commitment to enhancing students’ national and strategic awareness and enabling them to gain a deeper understanding of national security concepts and the regional and international challenges facing the Egyptian state.
The course activities included a series of diverse strategic topics delivered by a distinguished group of experts and specialists. These topics covered: the concept of the state, national security strategy, societal loyalty and belonging, components of comprehensive state power, national security challenges and threats, the role of non-state actors, the role of the Armed Forces in safeguarding national security, as well as regional and international risks—providing an integrated vision of the variables influencing Egyptian and Arab national security.
