Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of El Saleheya El Gadida University, and Prof. Alaa El-Din Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Board, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Amal El-Sayed and Dr. Alaa Saleh, Members of the Board of Trustees; Prof. Dr. Assem El-Shazly, President of El Saleheya El Gadida University; Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz Khamis, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Khodr, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Community Service, along with the deans of the faculties, faculty members, assistant teaching staff, administrative leaders, and a number of students, El Saleheya El Gadida University welcomed its new students during the orientation day activities for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The event was held in a warm and welcoming atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, as part of the University’s commitment to preparing students for the beginning of their university journey and introducing them to the various aspects of academic and student life.
The University’s Youth Welfare Department supervised the organization of the day’s activities, under the leadership of Mr. Mamdouh, contributing to the smooth and distinguished execution of the event. The activities began with the national anthem, followed by a diverse program of introductory and interactive activities that enabled new students to become acquainted with their respective faculties, faculty members, academic programs, and study system. Students were also introduced to the various services and student activities offered by the University, helping them integrate into the university community and preparing them for a distinguished academic and student experience from their very first day.
The day also featured a series of introductory and interactive sessions, providing students with an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about various academic and student-related aspects. In addition, welcoming activities helped foster communication and interaction among the new students and created a positive atmosphere at the beginning of their university journey.
As a gesture of appreciation reflecting the University’s commitment to excellence, the event also included the honoring of a number of outstanding students in recognition of their distinguished academic achievements and commendable efforts, while encouraging them to continue their journey of success and excellence and serve as role models for their fellow students.
Prof. Dr. Assem El-Shazly, President of the University, emphasized that welcoming new students represents an important occasion to reaffirm the University’s commitment to its students from their very first day. He noted the University’s dedication to providing a stimulating and safe educational environment that combines quality education, training, and student activities, while contributing to the discovery of students’ talents and the development of their skills and abilities.
The University President further explained that university life is not limited to academic achievement, but also extends to building students’ personalities and developing their abilities in communication, creativity, teamwork, and responsibility. He encouraged new students to make the most of the opportunities and resources provided by the University and to actively participate in its various activities and events.
