Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Mr. Alaa El-Din Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Board, and with the guidance and support of Prof. Dr. Assem El-Shazly, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz, Vice President of the University, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Abdel Hafez, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, the university witnessed the launch of the activities of the “Annual Scientific Day” organized by the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery.
The organization of this event comes within the framework of the university’s continuous commitment to keeping pace with the tremendous technological advancements in the healthcare sector, as well as its ongoing efforts to develop the educational and research system and qualify students and graduates for the labor market in accordance with the highest local and international quality standards.
The event was inaugurated in the presence of the deans of the faculties, a distinguished group of faculty members, and a large number of the faculty’s students. The Scientific Day included a series of theoretical lectures and specialized discussion sessions addressing the latest advancements in the fields of dental implants, modern orthodontics, and the applications of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in smile design and microsurgeries.
Alongside the lectures, an exhibition of scientific posters and innovative student research projects was organized, where students showcased their research work reflecting their excellence and ability to connect academic curricula with practical application and innovation. This aligns perfectly with the university’s plan to support digital transformation and excellence in student activities.
At the conclusion of the event, the university and faculty administration expressed their sincere appreciation to all participants and organizers of this distinguished event.
