Academic degree
Upon the request of the Faculty of Physical Therapy Council, the New Salheya University Council, grants a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
Qualification for higher degrees
The Bachelor of Physical Therapy degree is the first university degree in the field of physical therapy required to obtain a license to practice the profession and which qualifies the graduate to register for postgraduate studies.
Requirements for obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
- The student must successfully complete 190 credit hours distributed over 5 academic years.
(College requirement 6 hours – Mandatory college requirements 172 hours – College Elective Requirements 12 hours)
- Spending a sixth year of training in different departments
- The cumulative GPA upon graduation must not be less than 2.00 as a minimum.

Dear Students: Welcome to the Faculty of Physical Therapy at Al-Salehiya University, which includes an elite group of the best faculty members and assistant staff who are distinguished by their extensive experience in medical teaching of the latest curricula and theories in physical therapy, as well as providing practical and clinical training through a large group of student laboratories that include the latest equipment used in treating patients, so that students can train on them and acquire practical and applied skills and experience. Our goal is to provide the medical community with a distinguished scientific and practical physical therapy specialist who has the ability to compete in the field of work, whether in Egypt, regionally or internationally. The college also includes an administrative apparatus with the highest degree of experience and efficiency in student affairs and excellence in administrative and technological support for students in various services, starting from application until graduation, God willing. My dear students, I always remind you to work hard in acquiring knowledge and self-development, and to maintain contact with professors, academic advisors and study colleagues. To have the Faculty of Physical Therapy – New Salheya University in a distinguished position among the faculties of therapy in Egypt, Arab local and international world, and to have the Faculty of Physical Therapy at the local level among the faculties of therapy and therapeutic rehabilitation.

The college aims to graduate pioneer physical therapists capable of providing health care to patients through an advanced scientific program and distinguished clinical training.
