Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohamed Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Mr. Alaa El-Din Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Board, and under the guidance of Professor Dr. Assem El Shazly, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Abdel Aziz Khamis, Vice President of the University, and as part of El Saleheya El Gadida University‘s strategy to strengthen academic collaboration and expand engagement with leading international universities and educational institutions, the Faculty of Computers and Information at El Saleheya El Gadida University hosted Professor Dr. Rania Hedehd, Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science and Chair of the Department of Computer Science at Columbus State University, USA.
During her visit, Professor Dr. Rania Hedehd delivered a distinguished scientific lecture to faculty members and teaching assistants of the Faculty of Computers and Information. The lecture highlighted the latest research trends and advanced applications in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science, enriching participants’ scientific knowledge and promoting the exchange of academic expertise.
Professor Dr. Hedehd also presented an overview of Columbus State University, introducing its academic programs and the study opportunities available for undergraduate and postgraduate students. She further outlined potential areas of scientific collaboration, academic exchange, and joint research between the two universities.
El Saleheya El Gadida University extends its sincere appreciation and gratitude to Professor Dr. Rania Hedehd for her valuable academic visit and outstanding contributions. The visit concluded with the preparation of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between El Saleheya El Gadida University and Columbus State University. The agreement will be submitted to the University administration in the United States for the completion of the official approval process, paving the way for a new phase of academic and research collaboration between the two institutions. The partnership is expected to include the implementation of joint academic programs, the promotion of academic and research exchange, the sharing of expertise, and the creation of broader opportunities for students and faculty members, further supporting the University’s pursuit of excellence and strengthening El Saleheya El Gadida University‘s position at both the regional and international levels.
