The Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Salihiya University organized a scientific field visit to the Mebaco Pharmaceuticals and Medicinal Plants Factory in Belbeis. The visit featured a series of interactive activities and included an inspection tour of the factory’s departments. Students were introduced to the stages of drug manufacturing, from the preparation of raw materials to the final packaging stage, as well as techniques for extracting active ingredients from medicinal plants and quality control standards according to international regulations. They also participated in open scientific discussions with senior experts at the factory about practical challenges in the pharmaceutical industry and innovations in the field of plant extracts.
