First: Introduction

These regulations constitute the organized framework governing the work of the University English Language Center. They aim to regulate workflow, define responsibilities, and ensure the quality of educational and training services provided to students and faculty members.

Second: General Objectives of the Center

  • Enhancing students’ proficiency in the English language in accordance with international academic standards.
  • Providing accredited educational and training programs for members of the university community.
  • Conducting placement tests and evaluating language performance with accuracy and transparency.
  • Offering individual and group language support for students.
  • Organizing student activities and events to promote the use of the English language.
  • Developing curricula and teaching methods in line with modern educational advancements.

  • Overall supervision of the workflow within the Center.
  • Approval of academic and training plans.

  • Preparing periodic reports and submitting them to senior administration.

Fifth: Duties of Faculty Members

  • Preparing lessons and semester plans in accordance with approved standards.
  • Committing to attendance at scheduled times and managing classes effectively.
  • Preparing examinations and assessments in line with the policies of the Center and the University.
  • Participating in student activities and educational initiatives.
  • Adhering to professional ethics and university policies.

Sixth: Attendance and Departure System

  • Commitment to official working hours approved by the University.
  • Attendance and departure shall be recorded through an electronic or manual system.
  • Repeated lateness is considered a violation subject to accountability.
  • In case of absence, prior notification must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance with an accepted and approved excuse.

  • Adopting modern teaching strategies and interactive educational practices.
  • Adhering to the approved academic plan, with no modifications unless approved by the administration.
  • Providing a safe and motivating educational environment for students.
  • Utilizing available educational and technological resources to support the learning process.

  • Commitment to the scheduled dates of placement tests and periodic examinations.
  • Applying unified standards in grading and announcing results.
