Launch of the 51st Military Education Course at El Saleheya El Gadida University

As part of the university’s strategy to build well-rounded student personalities, Professor Dr. Assem El-Shazly, President of El Saleheya El Gadida University, announced the launch of the activities of the 51st Military Education Course for male students. The course will run for a period of two weeks and has witnessed wide participation from students of various faculties across the university.

This course comes as an integral part of the national training program adopted by the university, aiming to strengthen the values of belonging and loyalty to the homeland, and to raise students’ awareness of current challenges and Egyptian national security issues. It also seeks to instill discipline and commitment, and to physically and intellectually prepare young people to become honorable role models capable of bearing responsibility toward society and the state.

In a statement on this occasion, Professor Dr. Assem El-Shazly emphasized that military education is not merely an academic requirement, but rather a national school that contributes to refining students’ leadership skills and enhancing teamwork.

The 51st course includes a comprehensive program divided into two tracks:

  • Practical Track:
This includes physical fitness training, military marching skills, and general discipline regulations, under the supervision of a distinguished group of officers from the Military Education Department.

  • Theoretical Track:
This includes awareness lectures on the role of the Armed Forces in protecting the nation’s resources, combating rumors, and addressing fourth- and fifth-generation warfare, contributing to safeguarding young minds against destructive ideas.

The course is held under direct field supervision by Brigadier Majed Mohamed Salem and Colonel Ayman Mohamed Ismail, commanders of the Military Education Course, with follow-up and coordination by Mr. Mostafa El-Safaty, General Coordinator of Military Education at the university, to ensure the highest levels of organization and adherence to the approved training program.

The university administration praised the level of commitment demonstrated by students from the first day of the course, in terms of both appearance and punctuality, affirming that the university has provided all logistical support and resources necessary to ensure the success of the course and the achievement of its desired objectives.
