President of El Saleheya El Gadida University Attends the Closing Ceremony of the 51st Military Education Course

Professor Dr. Assem El-Shazly, President of El Saleheya El Gadida University, attended the closing ceremony of the 51st Military Education Course, which was held at the university campus in cooperation with the Popular and Military Defense Forces. The ceremony was marked by an atmosphere of discipline and national spirit, and was attended by Mr. Magdy Abdelaziz, Secretary-General of the University, along with a number of university leaders.

The course was conducted under the direct field supervision of Brigadier General Magdy Mohamed Salem and Colonel Ayman Mohamed Ismail, commanders of the Military Education Course, who oversaw the implementation of the training program with a high level of precision. The course witnessed outstanding logistical organization through the efforts of the University’s Youth Welfare Department, with active participation from the working team consisting of Mr. Hakim Ahmed, Mr. Abdullah Youssef, Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim, and Ms. Hamsa El-Shafie, who exerted great efforts in organizing the military parade and facilitating all procedures for the participating students. The course also received continuous follow-up and coordination from Mr. Mostafa El-Saffaty, the General Coordinator of Military Education at the university.

In his speech, the University President emphasized that the university’s role goes beyond academic education, as it places great importance on building students’ personalities on both national and military levels. He praised the fruitful cooperation with the Egyptian Armed Forces in transferring values of discipline and military awareness to students, enabling them to face future challenges with responsibility and awareness.

During the ceremony, the President also commended the efforts exerted by the course commanders and organizers, stressing that military education represents a fundamental pillar in shaping students’ character. He highlighted its objectives, which include instilling values of discipline, punctuality, and adherence to rules as a way of life, enhancing national awareness, and achieving physical and mental preparedness to empower youth to face difficulties with sincere patriotic spirit.

The event included a military parade in which students demonstrated a distinguished level of coordination and discipline, followed by a presentation of some of the skills acquired during the training period. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the University President honored outstanding students and those responsible for organizing the course, in appreciation of their efforts in making this national endeavor a success and presenting it in a manner befitting the name and stature of El Saleheya El Gadida University.
