Quality Assurance Unit of Management & International Economics
Vision
To complete the elements of the college’s quality assurance systems, enabling it to continuously develop and qualify for institutional and academic accreditation from reputable local, regional, and international bodies.
Mission
To ensure the quality of the university’s performance in all components and activities of the educational system — both institutional capacity and educational effectiveness — in light of local, regional, and international quality standards. This is to achieve comprehensive quality and continuous development in higher education and enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of graduates, ensuring the Faculty of Management and International Economics at New Salhia University earns a distinguished place nationally, regionally, and globally.
Unit Objectives
The unit, through its committees, aims to implement the quality assurance system in the faculty and develop educational, research, and community service processes. The specific objectives include:
- Evaluate the educational process by measuring performance indicators for inputs and outputs (faculty, staff, students, graduates, etc.).
- Design and prepare evaluation tools and forms with clear procedures and standards.
- Promote evaluation culture through seminars, workshops, and training courses focused on academic performance and quality assurance.
- Exchange expertise with similar centers locally and internationally.
- Create a comprehensive database for all study programs and courses to align with international standards.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses in the college’s programs and propose solutions and action plans.
- Monitor program and curriculum updates to ensure competitive graduates.
- Establish communication with national and international quality assurance bodies.
- Organize training programs for faculty and staff development, especially regarding course files, internet use, and educational technology.
- Monitor performance evaluation in new educational systems such as open and distance learning.
Formation of the Unit Board of Directors
Based on the university administration’s instructions to raise the level of the educational process, the Dean of the Faculty has decided to update the composition of the Faculty’s Quality and Accreditation Unit Board of Directors. The Board will consist of:
