About Event
As part of New Salhia University’s contribution to addressing climate change and its impact, as the state pays the highest attention to this phenomenon. This came in conjunction with the COP27 International Climate Conference in Sharm El-Sheikh, which is being attended by all countries of the world. New Salhia University held a symposium entitled “Climate Challenges and Egypt’s Climate Strategy 2050”
in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Sharkia
Professor Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Professor Dr. Mohi El-Din Mandour, President of the University
and all academic and administrative leaders of the university, as well as union, executive, and popular leaders in the governorate. The symposium featured lectures by:
Professor Dr. Moataz Khorshid (former Minister of Higher Education)
Professor Dr. Saeed Abdel Aziz (former Governor of Sharkia)
Major General Mahmoud Khalifa, Military Advisor to the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.
