Under the patronage and in the presence of Professor Dr. Assem El-Shazly, President of El Saleheya El Gadida University, and Professor Dr. Abdelaziz Khamis, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Mostafa Gad El-Haq, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information, the Faculty organized its annual Scientific Day. This event comes as part of its continuous support for innovation, encouragement of scientific research, and promotion of knowledge exchange among students across various technological disciplines.
The event featured distinguished presentations of students’ projects in the fields of information technology, electronics, and artificial intelligence. The projects reflected an advanced academic level and innovative ideas, demonstrating the academic efforts exerted within classrooms and research laboratories.
In this context, the University President praised the innovative quality of the showcased projects, affirming that: “The University places supporting its creative students at the forefront of its priorities.” He pointed out that the Faculty of Computers and Information represents a fundamental pillar of the digital transformation sought by the state, and that such scientific events serve as a true bridge connecting educational outcomes with the real demands of the labor market.
For his part, Professor Dr. Mostafa Gad El-Haq emphasized that the success of the Scientific Day reflects the advanced educational environment provided by the Faculty. He stressed the importance of continuing to nurture these ideas and transforming distinguished student projects into practical models that serve the industrial and service sectors.
The Scientific Day was organized under the academic supervision of Dr. Hamed Shawky, Dr. Wael Fathallah, and Dr. Marwan Fouad, in cooperation with the Youth Welfare Department to ensure the smooth conduct of the event. The day witnessed wide engagement from faculty members and students, who praised the quality of the presented projects and their practical applications that link theoretical knowledge with real-world practice, while enhancing students’ creative thinking and teamwork skills.
The organization of this event comes within the framework of the Faculty’s strategy to prepare qualified cadres capable of keeping pace with rapid developments in modern technology fields, and to actively contribute to community service and the building of a knowledge-based economy.
