The General Administration of Youth Welfare and Student Activities is responsible for organizing and managing the tournament, which aims to promote sportsmanship, positive competition among students, and the integration of extracurricular activities into university life.
This year’s league features participation from all university faculties, with teams divided into groups following a league system. The competitions will continue over the coming weeks to determine the teams advancing to the later stages.
The General Administration of Youth Welfare emphasized that the technical level of the league has been remarkably high since the opening matches, reflecting the growing interest in sports activities within the campus. The matches were held on the university’s fields amid a large and enthusiastic student audience, creating an atmosphere of excitement and positive rivalry.
The administration stressed that the goals of the league go beyond direct sports competition to include:
• Discovering athletic talents to represent the university in external events.
• Strengthening teamwork and unity among students from different faculties.
• Providing a healthy environment for physical activity and channeling students’ energy in a positive and constructive way.
The Youth Welfare Administration invites all students to follow the league’s matches and support their faculty teams, wishing success to all participating teams.
