Under the generous patronage of Professor Dr. Mohamed Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees; Mr. Alaa El-Din Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Board; and under the direct guidance and supervision of Professor Dr. Assem El-Shazly, Acting President of the University, and Mr. Magdy Abdelaziz, Secretary-General of the University—and in the presence of the deans of faculties and a distinguished group of faculty members—El Saleheya El Gadida University (SGU) hosted an exceptional artistic performance as part of the “Variety Theater” program. The event was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Egyptian Radio and Television Union, under the supervision and organization of the General Administration of Youth Welfare and Student Activities, led by Mr. Mamdouh Othman.

The stage was illuminated by a distinguished ensemble of Egyptian artists who presented a collection of performances blending comedy and drama, including Mohamed El-Sawy, Adel Shaaban, Mostafa Doreish, Ahmed El-Tanany, and Mourad Fekry. The presence of actresses Mai Abdel Nabi, Nagah Hassan, Abeer Makawy, and Wafaa El-Sayed added a unique touch to the show through their remarkable performances and diverse roles.

The program featured a variety of segments ranging from comedic sketches and dramatic scenes to meaningful musical performances, all characterized by refined human and social messages. This diversity contributed to strong audience engagement and widespread appreciation for the show’s quality and depth.

In his remarks, Professor Dr. Assem El-Shazly, Acting President of the University, emphasized that hosting an artistic event of such scale and quality represents a strategic step toward fostering a comprehensive university environment that promotes creativity alongside academic excellence.

Dr. El-Shazly also expressed his deep belief in the theater’s noble humanitarian mission in shaping awareness and building a more conscious and cultured society. He extended his sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Egyptian Radio and Television Union, and all those who contributed to the success of the event, affirming New Salhia University’s commitment to presenting creative content that strengthens its leading role as a beacon of both knowledge and art.
